Alex Cox

Most of my books, being film or theatre related, have gone to Boulder Colorado to adorn my office in the School of Art. Some of the tomes that stayed at home are shown here. A tiny science fiction collection, old guide books, one of my three copies of Moby Dick, novels which should have been films – Slow Fade and Deathworld – resource materials for the Western, Robin Ramsay’s crucial Rise of New Labour, and some books about Mexico and Nicaragua, including Tomas Borge’s Patient Impatience, and Sergio Ramirez’ Adios Muchachos. (Where is the rest of that collection – my prized copies of Sandino’s Daughters and Sandino’s Daughters Revisited? In Boulder, I hope…)
